Weird but Good
Conceived from a place of curiosity and experimentation, Analog Fair started as an “offline” festival. No social media, no online presence.
While we aren’t anti-phone, our goal is to bring artists, creatives, and makers face-to-face. During a time where creating these bonds is absolutely vital to our survival, Analog Fair makes space to slow down, and cultivate something deeper and more resilient. We invite you to put away your phone, engage the senses, and bring mindful focus to the arts and people around you.

PAR-Projects is an artist-led organization with a mission to empower diverse communities of people who believe in the arts. As educators, we provide workshops & eight-week classes, related to career development & skills training. As working artists, we enjoy hosting thought provoking exhibits & large scale collaborations throughout Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
PAR-Projects is currently in the midst of a major community development project in Northside, Cincinnati, that is transforming 3/4 of an acre of blighted land into a contemporary arts & education center. Within their campus they currently host a fine art gallery and a number of creativity-focused artist studios. In the coming months they will open their outdoor performance stage and outdoor movie theater. In the coming year or two, they will be opening a second gallery space and creating an outdoor venue, truly designed to give their communities a place to gather.

Analog Fair is a music and arts festival designed to free us from the pressures of social media and bring mindful focus to the arts. We stay away from all social media in favor of doing our marketing and engagement through physical posters, handbills, and face-to-face interactions.
Why? For one, the creators of Analog Fair were curious to see how an event that shunned social media would fare in today’s world. And for many artists, the chore of social media management and online performing detracts from the experience of creating and sharing. So what if we could do without, and invite people to engage with the moment more than the screen? Our goal is to invite that type of experience, and to challenge ourselves and others to connect outside of online routines.
